The Great Nottinghamshire Tea Party, held at Patchings Art Centre, was the theme for the afternoon’s activities. Visitors enjoyed complimentary tea and cake, whilst helping to decide what was the favourite local cake, all homemade with local ingredients.

The event was supported by many farm based attractions, shops, bed and breakfast and self catering providers, allowing visitors to find out what can be enjoyed on the doorstep. Thanks to the many businesses who supported the Tea Party and to those who called and helped decide that the carrot cake was Nottinghamshire's favourite homemade cake.
